A few days ago, it was a second Sunday in May, which also happened to be Mother’s Day. My sister and I woke up early to make a special breakfast for our dear mum.

We had made a delightful breakfast surprise for our mom. We whipped up tuna fish sandwiches and scrambled eggs and brewed a fresh coffee. When Mum woke up and discovered the small feast we’d prepared, her face lit up with joy.

We contributed to the household chores. We were obedient and tackled most of the tasks throughout the day. And in the evening, my dad stepped in to give Mum a break from cooking dinner.
