Night Market Essay in English by Sir Syed Osama
In this essay, I share my personal experience of the New Year's night market.
Every year, two days before the Chinese New Year, our place comes alive with a bustling night market. It’s a tradition to set up the market during this festive season.
This year, I took my sister to the night market. As soon as we arrived, it was very crowded. Gradually, more and more people joined in, creating a lively and noisy atmosphere.

At the market, a delightful array of items awaited shoppers: toys, clothing, books, stationery, delectable treats, vibrant flowers, various materials, kitchenware, cosmetics, and countless other treasures.
Amidst the lively chaos of the market, stall-keepers raised their voices, vying for attention from potential buyers. Customers engaged in animated conversations, haggling over prices, while women searched for the items on their shopping lists.
Me and my sister were going from one stall to another stall. We were looking at things when a loud noise came from two stalls away. A fat woman was arguing with a thin stall owner over the price of some goods.
Tempers flared as the two of them exchanged heated words. A growing crowd gathered, drawn by the spectacle. Eventually, the stout woman flung the disputed item back and stormed away.
Having observed the heated quarrel, my sister and I decided to head home. Our legs were weary, and fatigue settled in, but overall, we had a delightful visit.
